Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in a software program or engineering management role in SaaS/PaaS, cloud computing and/or enterprise software.
- Project management experience.
- Experience successfully delivering software products.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience establishing methods, tools, and process improvements for large groups or organizations.
- Experience collaborating with product management teams or acting as a product manager to drive product launches from concept to sunset.
- Track record of successfully delivering complex software products, in-depth knowledge of project management.
- Excellent technical judgement and leadership across organizational and team boundaries
- Proven ability to collaborate well with others, and possess excellent negotiation and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups.

As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) in Google Cloud (Networking), you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, from ideation to delivery. You re constantly asking how it can be done better than the last time by tracking it better, identifying risks sooner, by communicating more efficiently as you collaborate with everyone it takes to launch large-scale projects.

Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of all programs/projects within a specific Google Cloud product portfolio based on Google and customer business objectives.
- Work closely with the engineering and product leadership team to transform the operation and effectiveness of the organization.Guide engineering and product priorities and oversee the framework that drives product backlog management and product/feature releases.
- Provide leadership and strategy required to enhance software development, program management, cross-functional coordination, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
- Drive consistency between Cloud processes and central processes. Bring visibility and strengthen communication across the teams. Engage with engineering directors, product leaders and other Technical Program Manager groups.
- Lead cross-functional teams to take products to market, ensure success metrics inform future efforts, and fine tuning programs as required.
