Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience working with technical subjects and emerging technologies in Cloud, or related technical fields.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with designing and managing large scale complex build, deployment tools, infrastructure, test environments, and test automation.
- Experience leading cross-functional project teams and working across borders and time zones.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills.
- Excellent leadership, people and communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups.
- Strong program management fundamentals (planning, execution, estimation, risk management, stakeholder management).

As a Technical Program Manager, you will use your talents for program management; mobilizing cross-functional teams, delivering solutions for scale, and data-driven decision making to refine, launch, and deploy solutions that improve our Cloud/Technical Infrastructure (TI) engineering teams productivity and drive release velocity improvements across Google Cloud. These, in turn, drive our success in the cloud. Cloud Engineering Productivity (EngProd) is engaged with all Google Cloud/TI products and services, and you will access and engage across all Cloud and TI teams: Compute, Storage, Network, Services, and other. Furthermore, you'll be part of building tools and system that are critical to the delivery of products across Google Cloud/TI and Google.

Responsibilities
- Analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, define requirements, and collaborate cross-functionally and globally to improve processes and tools.
- Develop strategic plans in line with Cloud EngProd goals and drive changes.
- Manage multiple interdependent projects of moderate to high complexity and scope. Use technical judgement to build consensus, projects, schedule, plans, execution, and communicate status to the stakeholders.
- Collaborate and coordinate projects with Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Engprod, and cross-functional teams on behalf of Cloud EngProd across Google Cloud/TI.
- Drive portfolio of technical projects end-to-end and multi-quarter roadmap across Cloud EngProd for tools/framework development, building infrastructure and process improvement.
