POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for handling of costing, along with servicing of the product costing system implemented at Formulation plants.
OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Costing: - Updating of the standard product cost on period basis in the system - Analysis of any variance vis a vis standard - Analysis of actual CCPC vs standard and also comparing the same as per the DPCO norms
- Budgets : Preparing Budget costs, understand the variances, track yield improvements, incorporate all identified improvements in budgets,
- GC Improvements : - to be part of the GC Improvement programs of the respective regions, and ensure the same are tracked , implemented and incorporated in Budgets.
- Cost Audit: Preparing information required for cost audit completion and submission -Preparing of information for filing DPCO
- New product costing system: Revising of the standard overheads for the Budgets. - Updating the revised overheads in the system. - Assessment cycle for actual OH loading on to product and analysis for deviations if any.
- Consolidation : consolidation of various reports related to costs, and report the overall view.
- Automation/Digital/Simplification :- should have the inquisitiveness to do things differently and simplify in order for the job to be completed faster and with better quality.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Education: B.Com, ICWA
Experience:
4-5 years experience in costing department, preferably in Pharma industry. Should have additional experience of compiling cost audit information and handling cost audit.
