- Leading the Data Management team specializing in supporting the life cycle of an employee through routine Workday/Local transactional processing/approval for Global English speaking Markets.
- Should have in-depth knowledge of Workday Tier 1 Data and Transaction management and should be hands-on and responsible for leading a team of DM analysts.
- Uses knowledge management tools effectively to ensure accuracy of information and stays abreast of changes in knowledge management content.
- Serves as subject matter expert on HR transactions on workday, processes and other services to ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times, stakeholder knowledge is current and fit for purpose and is able to identify and take corrective action when information appears out of alignment or incorrect.
- Understand and deliver services against Global Value Stream Metrics and standards.
- Deliver against all compliance imperatives including support for local and global Data Audits, local legislative needs, protecting Data Privacy at all times and adhering to confidentiality requirements to promote zero breach of compliance policies.
- Provides effective coaching (with input from the Quality Assurance & Effectiveness teams), development (utilizing the 70/20/10 model as a guide) and performance management of team of Data Management Analysts ensuring alignment with GSK IPTc Values and Expectations and optimizing team performance.
- Ensure effective prioritisation of work and appropriate workforce planning for incoming workload.
- Resolves operational & service issues – acting as the escalation point as appropriate, ensuring stakeholders & customers are kept informed of the status of their issue.
- Partners with other groups within the HR service delivery model to ensure processes are optimized to deliver excellent service to the customer
- As needed, manages projects/process optimization initiatives and engages stakeholders to facilitate change management.
- Understands the use of on-line tools and HR systems and can act as a subject matter expert on a wide range of diverse and complex issues and provide guidance as it relates to HR transactions.
- Works to support the ongoing engagement & resilience of the team
- Take accountability for ensuring all relevant Service Operating Procedures are fit for purpose and governed according to accepted Global standards
- Lead the team to support employees, managers and HR on Workday data management requests (scheduled and ad hoc)
- Possesses deep knowledge of Workday Data Management and Transactional Support serving as subject matter understanding the downstream impact of transactions on benefits/Payroll and other systems.
- Generates and analyses service KPI’s when requested
- Develop capability for sophisticated data analysis that provides both retrospective and prospective actionable insights that improves service.
- Will create appropriate global, regional and local metrics/dashboards to provide oversight and insights to performance with an expectation of driving continuous improvement.

- Experience of managing a team of Workday Data Management analysts
- Experience been hands-on on workday and leading a Workday Data management team in a HR Shared Services, Support Centre or Customer Support environment.
- Excellent and high level of expertise in standard MS Office software (word, excel, PowerPoint).
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Excellent written (language/grammar) and verbal (listening/speaking) communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on complex cases and lead a team, in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent data gathering and analytical skills with critical attention to detail.
- Experience of Workday, online tools, and an understanding of the downstream impact of transactions to benefits, payroll etc.
