1 Develop specific bearing system components by ensuring cooperation between design, manufacturing, product lines, procurement, product assurance and protos.

Work on a daily basis with the product line to ensure appropriate bearing system is developed according to the needs, in terms of quality, cost and delay. Write technical reports and supervise components designs. Participate to design reviews, risks and FMEA analysis.

Apply and participate in the development of standard methodologies for bearing system dimensioning by simulation and testing (e.g. rotordynamics, FEA, component and on engine testing). Lead andor participate to specific internal team projects.

2 Acts as bearing expert for the product line
- Support product development and application launches

Apply Six Sigma tools to design a robust product. Interact with the multiple cross-functional teams for new components and concepts integration into the whole product.

3.Leads the collaboration with external companies and universities in the context of hisher projects

Maintain relationship with top players in the field of expertise (universities, labs, suppliers, ) in order to anticipate trends, stay on top of industry best practices and define the best strategy for tools development

4. Ensure the training of development engineers on the tools in the area of expertise

Support product development and application launches, launch issues and field issues when appropriate
