JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Digital Advanced Analytics team in Bengaluru. The individual will be responsible for constantly leveraging his/her technical skills and creativity. Our Data Scientist needs to be Passionate about data science, Machine learning, AI and open for learning with a strong desire to grow
Specific Responsibilities
- Use Machine Learning, data mining and statistical techniques to create new, scalable predictive analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to address business problems
- Deep expertise in various algorithms like Regressions, Clustering, Decision trees, Random Forests, Support Vector Machine, Neural networks, Time series forecasting etc.
- Visualizing and reporting data findings in a variety of formats using R Shiny apps
- Expert in the processing of structured and unstructured data
- Assist team in developing and delivering data science solution
- Manipulate and prepare large, heterogeneous data sets to support advanced analytics
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Tools & Platforms:
- A strong foundation in Machine Learning, Computer Science, and Applied Statistics.
- Coding experience with Python (intermediate to advanced) and experience in using different python packages like Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib, Plotly
- Exposure to GCP and other cloud platforms
- Experience with common data science tool kits, Such as Python, R, SPSS, SAS, KNIME, Tableau, Power BI, Advanced Excel.
- Demonstrable knowledge of SQL and relational databases, data engineering & ETL tools
- Exposure to big data technologies and cloud-based services for data storage and processing, data lake, data mart
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, design and build data-driven analytical models
Analytics and ML Algorithm:
- Deep expertise in various algorithms like Regressions, Logistic regression Clustering, Decision trees, Random Forests, Support Vector Machine, Neural networks, Time series forecasting etc.
- Expert in the processing of structured and unstructured data
- Data understanding, data imputation, data mining and feature engineering
Soft skills:
- Ability to describe and communicate in an approachable and lucid manner about complex AI algorithms and data science concepts with business stakeholders and end clients.
- Passionate about data science and open to learning with a strong desire to grow
- Team management skills
- Intellectually curious, collaborative, with excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Academic Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent; Master’s degree added advantage.
Years of Experience:
- 3 to 5 year of experience in the Data Science field.
