Job Description
The SAP Basis Administrator role requires a minimum 4-5 years hands-on SAP basis experience in SAP GRC, ECC/ S4 HANA, BW, GRC, Solution Manager and cloud based applications implementation and support. The SAP Basis Administrator will assist with developing and maintaining connectivity between SAP GRC on premises and SAP SuccessFactors EmployeeCentral (SFEC) in cloud for the Birlasoft customer. Sound understanding of SAP GRC 10.1 and above configuration and high-level understanding of SFEC functionality and operations. She/ he will perform analysis on all assigned tasks prior to executing activities and document the actions taken. Specific responsibilities include:
- Must have overall understanding of SAP technical architecture
- Should be familiar with communication techniques and protocols.
- Understand the proposed solution design integrating SAP GRC with SFEC, identify gaps, and make recommendations from basis perspective collaborating with SAP GRC consultant, SFEC technical / business, Infrastructure and HR teams.
- Configure, monitor, tune, and troubleshoot the SAP basis related issues with SAP GRC and other impacted SAP systems.
- Manage transports as part of the project.
- Implement support packages, kernel upgrades, patches and SAP Notes including performing impact analysis as required for the project.
- Perform and document work on daily basis.
- Assist create Basis project plan.
- Must have strong interpersonal, communications, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently or with limited direction.
Should have experience working remotely on global teams.
