Job Summary
AECOM is seeking applications for the role of Chief Bridge Engineer (Foundation/Sub Structure) for an upcoming bid of the Construction of Four Lane River Bridge in the North-Eastern states of India. This would be the longest river bridge in India.
(a) Total experience: Minimum: 20 years; Desirable: 23 years with in 3 countries (which may include their home country) with 2 years in foreign country
(b) Experience in Cable stayed or Cable suspension or Extradosed or pre-stressed bridge for highway/ expressway/rail cum road bridge in Similar Capacity
- in Design/Construction/Construction Supervision of Bridges with well foundation and piles over Sea/ Creek/ Perennial River/ Estuary; Minimum: 5 Years; Desirable: 9 Years
(c) Experience in Similar Capacity with minimum bridge length of 500 mtrs having span not less than 125 mtrs. - Minimum: 2 Projects; Desired: 4 Projects
(d) Design of bridge projects over Sea/ Creek/ Perennial River/ Estuary with well foundation and piles; Minimum: 2 Projects; Desired: 6 Projects
(e) Supervision of Re-habilitation and repair of major Bridge over Sea/ Creek/ Perennial River/ Estuary; Minimum: 2 Projects; Desired: 4 Projects
(f) Experience in Similar Capacity
- in field of Social & Environment Management Plans in Bridge projects funded by Multilateral/ Bilateral Funding Agency (ies):
Minimum: 1 Projects; Desired: 3 Projects
Minimum Requirements
Graduate in Civil Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Desirable Qualification:
Post Graduate in Construction Management Engineering / Transportation Engineering / Structural Engineering /Soil Foundation Engineering
